Cooler IAT plus a flashy look

Install was simple and quick on my ‘24 FGT. My main reason for purchase was to lower IAT, but I spent the extra $ for the lit kit because I knew I’d regret it if I didn’t. I’m in Texas and keeping IAT low is nearly impossible past spring time, no matter what you do. So this isn’t a miracle cure, but it has definitely helped! My car used to run IAT temp of about 135-140 degrees Fahrenheit when it’s 80 degrees out and I’m doing 70 mph. The big mouth has dropped that down to around 120-125 degrees when ambient is 80. At idle I see close to 150-165 degrees, but that drops back down quickly once I’m moving again. I’m running my stock Intercooler and trying to avoid upgrading that for now.
The app that controls the LED is a little clunky, but I’m getting the hang of it. Oh, and if you use the remote that comes with it, make sure you’re far enough away from anyone else with a lit kit or you’ll be controlling theirs too! My hubby put a lit kit on his Stinger GT, and if we’re parked next to each other and use the remote instead of the app, both kits can be controlled with just one remote.
